Welcome to the WGEA Data Explorer!

The dashboards below display the results of WGEA's Employer Census of Australian employers with 100 or more employees. These employers report to WGEA annually against 6 priority areas that can have a positive impact for workplace gender equality – called gender equality indicators (GEIs).

Aggregate national and industry results published on the Data Explorer relate only to private sector employers that report to WGEA. The Employer Data Explorer contains both private sector employers and Commonwealth public sector employers.

WGEA will publish 2023-24 private sector employer gender pay gaps on the Employer Data Explorer in February 2025. This will be followed by individual Commonwealth public sector employer gender pay gaps, which will be published for the first time in early 2025.
