The Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) Community of Practice, convened by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency, will enable employers to:

  • develop a shared understanding of key workplace gender equality challenges,
  • connect and share with each other how they have achieved measurable change on common gender equality challenges, drawing on WGEA data and insights and
  • learn from one another, and undertake shared problem-solving, in relation to complex, industry-wide or structural workplace gender equality challenges.

Survey

EOCGEs are invited to complete this 3-minute survey. WGEA is seeking to understand your preferences for how the Community of Practice is run, and topics covered.

Membership

Employers with an EOCGE citation can nominate up to three people to join this Community of Practice—the nominees would typically be a senior manager in People and Culture or Diversity and Inclusion, but this may vary, depending on employer size.

Meetings

Community of Practice members will engage with each other, formally, through structured meetings. In the first instance, the Community of Practice members will meet once, for a one-off pilot session of 1.5 hours. All EOCGEs will be invited to this session and will be able to nominate attendees.

There is an intention that the Community of Practice will continue to meet, once a quarter—though, this is subject to change, depending upon feedback from the pilot session.

We are keen to hear from EOCGEs about their preferences for how the COP is run, and what topics are covered at COP meetings.

Please complete our 3-minute survey—your responses will be confidential.
