Australia's latest gender equality scorecard is out now and we want your help to spread the word. 


The Workplace Gender Equality Agency ('WGEA') has released the sixth year of gender reporting data. This year's dataset covered over four million employees, representing more than 40% of employees in Australia.

25.7k gender pay gap - small drop in the gender pay gap (down 0.5pp to 20.8%).
Gender balance stalls at top levels - female CEOs remained static at 17.1%
Big increase in employer action on family and domestic violence - employers with a policy or strategy on family or domestic has jumped over 13pp ti 60.2%
Health pay gap barely shifts - a drop of only 02.pp to 15.9%
Employers supporting flexible work - steady growth in employers with a policy or strategy for flexible working (up 2.0pp to 72.7%)
Employer focus on gender equality increases - over 75% of employers now have a gender equality strategy or policy (up 1.1pp)
Access to parental leave improves - primary carer's leave is up 1.6pp to 49.4% and secondary carer's leave is up 2.0pp to 43.8%
Increased employer action on pay equity - up 3.1pp to 44.7%
Women's promotions keep rising - women now comprise of 39.4% of all managers
One in two employees work in an industry dominated by one gender
