Quick! Reporting deadline almost here

There is just under one week remaining in the 2019 WGEA report submission period, with reports due by Friday 31 May 2019.

So far, around 65% of the organisations have started their reports. If you are still finishing your report for this year, here are three important things for you to remember:

  1. Do not forget to press ‘submit’
After employers have done all the hard work to complete their report, some forget to press the final ‘submit’ button! Reminder: once submitted, you have 28 days to edit the report.

  2. Remember you may receive an email asking you to edit your report and resubmit
All data submitted to the Agency is reviewed for any potential data errors or anomalies. If there are data quality anomalies, the WGEA compliance letter will only be sent after anomalies have been fixed.

  3. Beat the traffic – do not leave it to the last minute
While we await the re-development of our data reporting system, we ask for your patience during this peak period. Remember, the earlier you submit, the less likely you will be delayed due to system slowness.

We look forward to receiving all the 2018-19 reports. Your data is driving real change in gender equality across Australia.

The Workplace Gender Equality Agency is here to help you and we have plenty of reporting resources are readily available.
